Cansu is an antitrust attorney at Bona Law, where she focuses on antitrust and other complex commercial litigation. Cansu brings more than a decade of experience representing clients in high-stakes antitrust disputes, with a practice centered on sophisticated litigation in U.S. federal and state courts.

Before joining Bona Law, Cansu was an associate in White & Case LLP’s Global Antitrust/Competition Group, where she practiced from 2017 to 2026. At White & Case, she focused on complex antitrust litigation, particularly in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. She represented major pharmaceutical manufacturers in direct and indirect purchaser class actions alleging anti-competitive conduct and played key roles in defending clients through all stages of litigation.

Most recently, Cansu was part of a small team that secured a dismissal with prejudice of all claims against AbbVie in In re Bystolic Antitrust Litigation, resulting in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals’ first application of the FTC v. Actavis standard since the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision. She also served on the trial team defending Warner Chilcott against product-hopping claims involving Asacol, a matter that produced one of the most consequential class certification rulings in recent years.

In addition to her litigation practice, Cansu represented clients in merger control filings for cross-border transactions and in antitrust investigations conducted by the Federal Trade Commission, the New York Attorney General’s Office, and the European Commission.

Earlier in her career, Cansu gained experience in EU and Turkish competition law through roles in private practice and internships abroad, work that continues to inform her approach to complex antitrust matters involving international markets.
